FAO: NRAS, Ailsa and All,
May I politely suggest that everyone subscribing to the forum first confirms that they have read the "NRAS Online Community Guidelines" which are already in place - this could be confirmed by signature or via email before gaining access.
Also, perhaps add to this confirmation a brief statement acknowledging full understanding that any breach has potential to lead to suspension from the forum, perhaps also linking current wording with a brief statement about legalities and individual's own personal responsibilities.
I feel this may safely move the onus of legal repercussions from the NRAS and pass accountability onto the individual forum user. This is something I would happily sign up to and as soon as possible, to enable NRAS to get on with the great work they already do and for all of us to carry on using the forum as a source of friendship and support without uncertainty or anxiety.
Finally, ....ever the eternal optimist.... I do firmly believe that current problems will be resolved - i think this forum is comprised of a great bunch of people, albeit we are all VERY different!
Personnally, i dont see any cliques, definitely some strong friendships, maybe some shared strange humours..... i think sometimes we have to laugh or we cry - but the fact remains we are all bound together by our RA experiences and i hope long may that support continue xxxxx
Peace, love and a happy weekend to all ~ liz xxxxx
